PUBG Costume
This costume was inspired by the front cover of Player Unknown’s Battle Ground. When we got asked to build a life sized supply crate, Level 3 helmets and accessories for Toronto Fan Expo 2018, I wanted to attend the event in style! I made myself a Level 3 helmet, used some paintball gear and added battle wear to it with spray adhesive, authentic dirt, movie blood, white hockey tape, etc. I hired Alexys Grace who interned at our studio over the summer to do some realistic bullet wounds. She sculpted silicone prosthetics and did her magic to make it look like I got shot. Definitely got some funny looks walking around covered in blood and dirt.
The costume was really fun to wear because I could breathe, put the face plate up and talk to people all day, versus wearing Halo armour which gets hot very very fast.
